Important information about this material
Our reclaimed Barn Siding features a random mix of naturally-faded brown and grey boards and is denailed, defected and kiln-dried. Each board is individually inspected and graded to ensure durability, preservation and long life. Expect nail holes, natural checking and an overall weathered appearance. Although our Barn Siding is typically sold as a random grey-brown mixture of species, we also offer our barn siding in an all-oak mixture upon request. This material is produced to order. Please allow a 4-5 week lead time for production.
(The pre-finish applied to the surface of the wood.)
No Intended for wall applications only, this material is uncoated. Uncoated materials are ideal for clients wishing to leave the wood in its natural state or apply their own site sand and finish.
(Materials may be resin filled.)
No Large knot holes, checking, nail holes, worm holes and other similar characteristics will not be resin-filled. Note that any substrate used in application may be visible through the holes in the material.
(Standard practice of allowing the moisture content in the wood to adjust to application.)
7-10 Days To properly acclimate materials, the wood should be unpacked and left in the dry, temperature controlled (60-70 degrees) jobsite after all other construction has been completed. Failure to properly acclimate materials may result in the boards warping.
