Frame is a commercially rated series of ink-jet porcelain tile featuring the tradition of 19th and 20th century majolica and textile design techniques. The series includes four styles (Majolica, Carpet, Weave and Geometric). Each style finds its inspiration in a distinct set of graphic elements. The Majolica motif plays with the color and scale of traditional majolica tiles. Carpet takes its cues from the fabric patterns of Bauhaus and wooden block patterns reinterpreted through the lens of kaleidoscopes. Weave is a loose interpretation of the ancient Shibori technique of dyeing fabrics "by exclusion" and the movement of fabrics themselves. Geometric reinterprets blueprints and auto cad drawings into a minimalist take on traditional Mediterranean tiles.
Frame is a special order material. Sampling for this material is limited. Please ask your Stone Source Sales Consultant for details.

Colors + Sizes
The series includes four styles (Majolica, Carpet, Weave and Geometric) available as combination sets, which include variations within each style to allow for patchwork compositions. Select styles (Majolica, Carpet and Weave) are also offered in a singular format. Both the combination sets and singular formats are offered in a matte, 24"x24" (23.62"x23.62") rectified and mono-caliber tile.
Frame is suitable for interior and exterior walls and floors including heavy-traffic commercial flooring applications.
Installation + Maintenance
Tiles can be installed using standard installation methods for thinset adhesives. A grout joint of 1/8" or greater is recommended. Use high quality adhesive from manufacturers such as Laticrete and Mapei, following manufacturers’ recommendations, depending on conditions. Clean with a neutral detergent.
