DebrisRecycled Custom Glazed Ceramic Tiles

Debris is a series of environmentally friendly custom glazed ceramic tiles, offered in a wide variety of colors and in numerous sizes, shapes and trim pieces. Each order is produced to specifications, and therefore offers great design flexibility.
A Green Product
Debris tiles are produced on both a terra cotta body and a white clay body. The terra cotta tiles are composed of granite dust (23%), broken window panes (5.8%) and recycled brown and green bottles (17.5%). There is 23% post consumer recycled material and 25% post industrial recycled material. 49.9% of the clay body is recycled material. The white clay body is obtained from broken window panes and recycled clear glass bottles (43%). A product is considered to be green if it contains at least 20% post consumer recycled material or 40% post industrial recycled material.
Colors
Debris is offered in forty standard colors, including one unglazed terra cotta, and an unlimited number of custom glaze colors. Sample boxes, containing all standard color options are available. Images of all standard colors are included below.
Sizes + Shapes
The terra cotta tiles are offered in 4"x4", 6"x6", 6"x12" and 12"x12" sizes. The white body tiles can be ordered in 1"x1", 2"x2", 2"x4", 3"x6", 4"x4", 6"x6" and 12"x12" sizes. Relief and raised tiles, plus numerous molding pieces can be ordered. Line drawings of all standard Debris moldings are indicated below. Custom tile sizes and shapes and molding shapes can be produced in all colors.
Applications
Debris tiles are suitable for interior walls and counters, such as in residential and commercial kitchens and baths. Matte finish glazes are recommended for residential and medium traffic commercial floors. Unglazed tiles can be used in heavy traffic commercial floor conditions. Debris tiles can be used for exterior cladding, including cold climate areas (exterior application must be indicated to factory at time of order placement). Molding pieces can be combined with tiles or used in coordination with other materials.
