Description
Pietra Riciclata is a recycled through-body porcelain tile, produced by Cerim Ceramiche in Italy.
Colors + Finishes
Pietra Riciclata is available in five colors. All colors come with a textured surface.
Sizes
The collection comes in four standard (and actual) sizes: 6" x 6" (5.875" x 5.875"), 6" x 12" (5.875" x 11.875"), 12" x 12" (11.875" x 11.875"), and 12" x 24" (11.875" x 23.75"). There is a bullnose piece, which is 3" x 12" (3" x 11.875"). Mosaic tiles are available in 4" x 4" (3.75" x 3.75") mesh-mounted squares and 4" x 12" (3.75" x 11.875") strips. Fan shaped mosaics measure 45" x 30" (45.25 x 29.875). Stair treads are also available.
Recycled Content
In response to the evolving global perspective toward environmentally friendly construction, the production cycle reuses raw materials, waste and processing residues, for reduced environmental impact without compromising technical performance.
Pietra Riciclata may be used in projects seeking LEED certification. The percentage of pre-consumer recycled ceramic content for each color is noted in the product captions. The Bureau Veritas third party certification of Pietra Riciclata can be downloaded here.
Applications
Pietra Riciclata can be used in commercial and residential interiors - indoors and out. It is frost resistant and features excellent resistance to wear, chemical abrasion and weather, making it suitable for outdoor spaces, such as terraces.
Installation + Maintenance
Pietra Riciclata may be installed using standard ceramic tile installation methods and materials, as recommended by the Tile Council of America (TCA). Clean with a neutral detergent when needed.
