Description
stoneGlass is a series of recycled glass mosaics manufactured by the Spanish Company, Onix Mosaico.
Colors + Sizes
There are eight colors in stoneGlass. The standard and (nominal) size is 1"x1" (0.98"x0.98"). Each piece is mesh mounted on a 13"x13" (13.11"x13.11") sheet with a 1/16" grout line. Tile thickness is 1/8" (0.19").
Applications
stoneGlass is easy to maintain, stain resistant and slip resistent (ASTM C1028: dry 0.71, wet 0.65). It is suitable for residential and commercial walls and floors, depending on application (PEI 4; Mohs - 9).
Recycled Content
stoneGlass consists of 98% post industrial recycled glass. The recycled content has been verified and certified by Scientific Certification Systems.
Installation + Maintenance
Tiles can be installed using standard installation methods for thinset adhesives. Use high quality adhesive and grout from such manufacturers as Laticrete and Mapei, following manufacturers' recommendations, depending on conditions. Cut tiles with clean, new blade utilizing water during the cutting process. Clean regularly with mild neutral detergent.
