The Director of Sales & E-Commerce, Mission Stone & Tile, is responsible for increasing revenue and profitability for Mission Stone & Tile’s e-commerce platform: missionstonetile.com.

 

Achieve or exceed sales plan, grow pipeline, optimize the sales funnel, and increase market share. Oversee sales and customer service, analyze data, obtain customer feedback and provide insights for operational improvement to achieve sales objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Target new customers and grow the pipeline.
  • Optimize the sales funnel.
  • Develop sales forecast and achieve or exceed sales plan.
  • Drive website conversion.
  • Develop business strategies to grow the business exponentially.
  • Responsible for the customer experience, U/X, navigation, functionality and technical user interface. Ensure that the shopping experience meets or surpasses customer expectations.
  • Responsible for product data attribution and taxonomy maintenance for website and mobile platforms.
  • Optimize landing pages and promotions, site ads and site content.
  • Manage website enhancements, new methodologies and platform stability.
  • Partner with key stakeholders (sales, marketing, procurement, operations) as needed to develop product, pricing, inventory and marketing strategies that align with business needs.
  • Analyze website usability data and customer conversion data to develop insights into needs, motivations and behaviors.
  • Implement and test best practices, while understanding priorities for strategic initiatives and projects. Assess technical limitations and risks, as well as capabilities and opportunities, to deliver the optimal customer experience with the maximum business benefit.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in optimizing the sales funnel using Shopify
  • 5+ years of experience leading ecommerce business and product teams to deliver digital growth at scale.
  • Must exemplify an entrepreneurial mix of visionary strategy development, exceptional business acumen, the ability to lead a cross functional team and the ability to remain hands-on and execute initiatives as needed.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics.
  • Ability to analyze data and apply critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrate team-oriented behavior and the ability to work productively with a wide range of people.
  • Proven time management skills with evidence of personal initiative and discipline.
  • Problem solving, analytical ability and computer skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing or related field.
