Showroom Coordinator & Designer / Full Time – Los Angeles, CA
JOB SUMMARY
The Showroom Coordinator & Designer is responsible for providing a world-class, positive experience for Stone Source clients, visitors and stakeholders in construction-based, architectural and retail sales. This role proactively communicates with clients regarding materials, availability, shipping, pricing and technical details of materials, as well as status of orders and shipments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures showroom is maintained to company standards.
- Oversees the daily work activities of the showroom.
- Performs or facilitates maintenance of showroom and equipment including cleaning, maintenance and repairs.
- Maintains inventory of office/showroom supplies; orders new supplies as needed.
- CSR coordination and customer support as needed.
- Assists in negotiating deals with customers when appropriate.
- Helps salespeople discover and convert new business opportunities.
- Works with customers, contractors and vendors regarding product selection and solutions.
- Determines client needs and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions to fulfill the aesthetic and performance requirements of the project.
- Works with clients in the showroom as required.
- Technical details and product feature/benefits knowledge is mandatory.
- Schedules product knowledge and training sessions; attends all training programs.
- All projects and tasks as assigned and directed by management.
- Other responsibilities or ad hoc projects as may be assigned.
- Reports to Regional Sales Manager.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Superior presentation/public speaking skills.
- Strong interest in product and design.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, CRM, and be able to learn inventory management system.
- Personable; demonstrating team-oriented behavior; the ability to work productively with a wide range of people.
- Proven time management skills with evidence of personal initiative and discipline.
- Problem solving, analytical ability and computer skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, CRM, and be able to learn inventory management system.
- Experience in the tile & stone industry a plus (not required)
