Grained
The Grained Collection takes a modern approach to technical porcelain stoneware. This cement-look, through-body porcelain is mixed with fine particles in four natural hues with a delicate, terrazzo-style effect: Zinc (a creamy neutral), Plate (gray with light and dark particles), Rust (brick with white and red particles), and Green Copper (grayish-green with light and dark particles). Made in Italy, Grained includes 48’’ x 48’’ and 24’’ x 48’’ tile formats, 12’’x 12’’ mosaic sheets, and Tangram, 12’’ x 12’’ tiles that combine Grained surfacing with wood-look porcelain in a striking geometric design.
Available in a matte or ultra-matte finish, Grained is low-maintenance and offers thermal shock resistance, abrasion resistance, and frost resistance. It is appropriate for exterior cladding and pavers, interior walls and floors, wet areas, and high commercial traffic. The collection also offers skirting and step tread accessories.

This material is virtually non-porous. No sealer is required and it is less likely to stain.
ACID SENSITIVITY
Minimal
This material is minimally sensitive to acids. It will not acid etch or lose its surface sheen when exposed to acidic liquids such as lemons or tomatoes.
FREEZE-THAW
All Exteriors
Due to this material's Minimal or Moderate Absorption rating, its Abrasion Resistance rating, color fastness and tensile strength, this material is suitable for all exterior applications where freeze-thaw cycles are a concern. Use TCNA standards for setting in exteriors and consult an engineer regarding fastening systems and tensile strength required for your project.
